  In his photos one can experience the grandeur of a lavender sky reflected
  in the Dead Sea\, and feel the thrill of climbing a sheer granite face. H
 e has traveled around the globe\, peering through the obscuring haze of cu
 ltural diversity and conflict to find genuine beauty that exists beyond pr
 econceptions. A native of Salt Lake City\, Utah\, Garrett has practiced ph
 otography from a young age\, when\, captivated by the life occurring aroun
 d him\, he 'borrowed' his mother's point and shoot camera. Now\, he often 
 wakes early\, striding out into the dawn\, camera in hand\, to capture tha
 t ideal\nmorning light. In all his endeavors\, and especially his art\, Ga
 rrett strives to excel. His driven and individualistic nature\, leads him
