Request for Proposal Main Street Project Utah Heritage Foundation is looking for a qualified illustrator to illustrate a Utah Heritage Foundation education project. UHF has received funding to create an illustrated children’s book about Main Street. The goal of the project is to educate children (targeting grades 2-6) on the importance of traditional Main Streets and the role the people buildings, and businesses have on our daily lives and development of our communities, cities, and state. The book will include a combination of illustrations and historic photos of Main Street in Utah, but will make the information generally applicable to any city or state. Project Details • Color Illustrations • 45-50 Pages (11” wide x 8.5” tall) • Detailed illustrations of buildings, people and streetscapes • Incorporate several historic photos – Provided by UHF Requirements for submission • 4-5 pieces of your work – they can be copies as the materials submitted will not be returned. • An account of previous illustration experience Make submissions to Utah Heritage Foundation by March 15, 2010.
