Auditions for the Sandy Arts Guild production of “South Pacific” will be held on Monday, May 19 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 24 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. for adults and on Wednesday, May 21 from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. for the two children’s roles. All auditions will take place at the Sandy Parks and Recreation building, 440 East 8680 South in Sandy. Callbacks will be held on May 28 and 29.

Needed are men and women 16 years and older of all ethnicities. Also needed are children 8-10 years old with a French Polynesian look. All parts are open. Please be prepared to sing 16 bars of a musical theater piece in the style of the show. An accompanist will be available. Please bring music and no minus tracks. Reading and dance auditions will be held at callbacks. The directors have requested that all auditioners bring a list of scheduling conflicts between May 28 and August 23, a current photo and resume.

Susan Holland will direct and choreograph. Megan McClannan Reardon is the vocal director. “South Pacific” will perform August 15-23 at the Sandy Amphitheater, 1300 East 9400 South.
