This is one of two annual shows held by the Saltaires, a competition chorus affiliated with the Barbershop Harmony Society. The Saltaires specialize in secular music with many special arrangements of Broadway show tunes and many of the great pieces of vocal chorus music. Their competitive efforts are international in scope, that includes four continents and presents the 30 finalists out of more than 800 choruses world-wide. The Saltaires have placed in the top twenty six times and top 10 three times. They have performed with the Utah Symphony, at Capitol Theater, Abravanel Hall, Deer Valley, Snowbird summer concert series and the Temple Square Concert series, to name only a few. They are always on the lookout for men who love to sing. Tonight's concert also features VoiceMale! VoiceMale has been together for over 12 years. They started singing in the Fall of 1994 with nine members from the Logan LDS Institute's Horizons Choir. The group reduced down to six members in 1996. They've got other lives, full of careers and kids, so this is mostly a most fulfilling hobby that they just can't seem to give up. They've traveled a lot, met a lot people, and struck some very fine CDs along the way. They love to sing with each other and for their audiences. the Saltaires feel honored to share the stage with these fine musicians.
