Utah Opera has announced the cancellation of HMS Pinafore at the Deer Valley Music Festival (DVMF) on Saturday, August 9, 2008 due to UDOT construction on I-80. The performance of the same opera on Friday, August 8th will be replaced with a Tribute to Gilbert & Sullivan featuring highlights from Mikado, Pirates of Penzance, The Gondoliers and HMS Pinafore. Refunds and exchanges for HMS Pinafore on Saturday, August 9 can be made by calling 801-533-NOTE.
