    The Davis Arts Council's 2008 'Summer Nights with the Stars' season continues with a 60s beach party with the music of Jan and Dean. Surf's golden boys of 1963 and 1964, Jan and Dean, went on to record seven top ten records after their hit, Surf City. Although Jan Berry passed away in 2004, Dean Torrence continues to showcase the music they recorded together. The music of Jan and Dean is perfect for a nostalgic summer night.
