The Transatlantic relationship is the single largest commercial relationship in the world. This powerful bilateral relationship fosters competitiveness, economic growth, and stability between the United States and Europe, as well as much of the world. However, as strong as the economic relationship is, sociopolitical ties have been frayed by the Iraq War and won't be resolved without strong commitments from leaders on both sides of the Atlantic.

Please join Michael Maibach, President and CEO of the European-American Business Council (EABC), to learn about transatlantic trade and investment.

Michael Maibach has been President and CEO of the European-American Business Council (EABC) since 2003. The EABC is an association of 75 global companies with a win-win philosophy that supports unrestricted transatlantic investment and trade between the United States and Europe. Prior to heading EABC, Maibach served as Vice President of Government Affairs at the Intel Corporation from 1983 2001. He holds several degrees and has published dozens of essays on business, trade, technology and government.
