Seahorse Symphony Members Only Sneak Peek

Get a sneak peek of the newly expanded seahorse exhibit "Seahorse Symphony"! This new exhibit celebrates one of the most captivating and charismatic species on the planet, and will feature several species of live seahorses and their relatives, including the unique and fascinating pipefish. The exhibit will also include an interactive reproductive component that will educate visitors about the unique reproduction of seahorses. Seahorses lock tails, change colors, swim snout-to-snout and whirl around in unison for days before engaging in a "true courtship dance" that lasts about eight hours. When one thing finally leads to another, it is the male of the species that becomes pregnant and carries the offspring.

Aquarium membership must be presented for entrance to the exhibit. Light refreshments will be served from 10am-11am.
