    Weber State University Department of Performing Arts presents an evening of string chamber music Monday, November 30, at 7:30 pm in the Garrison Choral Room (BC136), Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts. Performers in this concert are all students in the orchestra and piano programs at WSU and are coached by chamber music program head Viktor Uzur, and other members of the string and piano faculty.

    This spring’s program will feature a variety of music for ensembles ranging from piano trios to string quintet. Tria Fata, an award winning ensemble, features Nicholas Maughan, piano; Kathryn Palkki, violin; and Samuel Runulfson, cello. Another piano trio includes three of the WSU Concerto Night 2009 performers, Fan-Ya Lin, piano; Moriah Wilhelm, violin; and Austin Packer, cello.
