September 27th is Art and Culture Day at the Downtown Farmers Market. Located in Historic Pioneer Park, the Market is open Saturday mornings from 8 am to 1 pm until October 18th. The special event this week provides an opportunity for the community to support local arts groups and buy garden-fresh delights.
Come and take in performances—in a relaxed outdoor setting—that showcase various downtown arts organizations. Arttix will offer discounts for selected performances and season subscriptions will be available. Ballet West will perform masterpieces from 10-11 am. Beginning at noon, Utah Symphony and Opera will entertain with the classics. Find out about the new seasons of SLC's finest music, dance, and theater...connect with the arts in downtown!
Downtown Art and Culture Day is presented by First Night, Salt Lake’s most popular New Year’s Eve celebration.
