The Salt Lake Art Center and ACLA of Utah present the second in a series of three community conversations in conjunction with the current exhibition Liberties Under Fire: The ACLU of Utah at 50.

Freedom Files: School to Prisons and Racial Justice will be moderated by Chris Vanocur, ABC Channel 4 News.  Following the short documentary Freedom to Learn: School to Prison Pipeline, Mr. Vanocur will lead community and ACLU panelists through a discussion on incarnation and the disproportionate representation of people of color in Utah's prison and jails.  Differing and respectful viewpoints are encouraged to join the dialogue on this important topic.

Moderator: Chris Vanocur, ABC Channel 4 News
Panelist: Emily Chiang, Staff Attorney, National ACLU Racial Justice Project
Panetlist: Brenda Guadalupe Valles, Research and Policy Analyst at the Utah Educational Policy Center
