    If you have ever desired expert instruction on using the LDS Church’s Personal Ancestral File software program for organizing your family history, here is your opportunity. 

    On Saturday, May 3, 2008, the Family History Library is offering free classes on Personal Ancestral File. These classes are for people who know the basics of entering information but could use help with the program’s special features.

    The class topics include “Adding Sources and Notes,” “Using Match/Merge,” “Using the Focus Filter Feature,” and “Adding Multimedia.” Classes are 75 minutes each and run from 9:00-11:45 a.m. and from 12:45-3:15 p.m. To view the schedule online, go to www.familysearch.org.
