A Panel Discussion: The Nostalgia of Downtown

What can we take from memories of the past and bring to the future?

The Grand Theatre invites you to a discussion of downtown Salt Lake City in the 1940's, 1950's & 1960's. Why was downtown such a destination fifty plus years ago? What made it magical and memorable? How do we bring the best of the "old" downtown into the new and emerging downtown?

 

Panelists include Anne Cullimore Decker, Stephen Goldsmith, Gene Pack, Emma Lou Thayne and Bob Welti.

 

Hosted by the Grand Theatre Community Institute and the Grand Theatre Company’s production of "The Trip to Bountiful", featuring Jayne Luke. Attendees are invited to attend the production after the discussion. Show time is 7:30PM, special ticket discounts will be available.
