Deer Valley Music Festival - 1812 Overture
August 1, 2009
Add Review/CommentJoin Deborah Henson-Conant and her harp as she amazes you with her Blues-Flamenco-Celtic-Funk-Folk-Jazz cross genre dynamic style. See her once and you'll never look at the harp the same way again. Recognizable from 4th of July Celebrations, V for Vendetta, and any other excuse to use cannons in a symphonic work, Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture was originally written to commemorate Moscow's successful defense against Napoleon's army at the 1812 Battle of Borodino. Ticket Information : Tickets for all festival events will go on sale April 15. Tickets on the day of the performance will increase by $5.
