Art at the Main will presents landscape painter Debra Marin as its featured artist March 17 April 12. This will be the first featured artist exhibit for the Ogden-based artist since joining Art at the Main in April 2007. Debra's show, Fields of Color, Rivers of Light aptly sums up the inspiration for the artist's work. Ms. Marin uses mainly pastels or oils to create a personal expression of the western landscape. She frequently paints out of doors where she seeks out the effects of sunlight and changing seasons. 'Being out in nature is my passion and if I can impart some of this to the viewer, then I have succeeded.' -Debra Marin Artist's Reception: Friday, March 21 6:00pm-9:00pm during The Gallery Stroll.
