Join Music Director Keith Lockhart as he leads the Utah Symphony in Mahler's 9th Symphony, which will be the final installment of the Mahler cycle that began 10 years ago. Fittingly, Mahler's 9th was also his last completed score. The symphony was possibly the composer's most intimate and deeply personal work he ever wrote. The intensity of the emotions in the 80-minute piece often leaves listeners exhausted and drained.
