Join the Utah Symphony as they welcome guest conductor Hannu Lintu and violinist Henning Kraggerud to Abravanel Hall. The program features Sibelius' (si-bey-lee-uh -s) Concerto for Violin, which was the only large-scale work for solo instrument and orchestra Sibelius composed. The program concludes with Schumann's Second Symphony, which expresses nervous energy, but still reflects the same intimacy and expressiveness as his better known works for piano.
