Les Claypool
March 13, 2009
Add Review/CommentThe most original rock bassist to come along in the '90s was unquestionably Primus' Les Claypool. With his oddball sense of humor and funky playing, Claypool took his varied musical influences and created an invigorating and completely inventive style. Claypool kicked off one of the most sustained periods of activity in his career in May of 2006 with the release of Of Whales And Woe. The album's 12 all-new songs match the irreverent aesthetic that has characterized Claypool's storied career with a gritty, uncompromising drive.
