    Please join us for the second lecture of our Raptor Trends and Topics Lecture Series with a discussion of Respectful Raptor Photography with Brent Houskeeper. Brent's interest in nature photography--raptors in particular--dates back over 50 years to childhood when he snapped photos of baby eagles and owls with a Kodak Brownie camera. In recent years Brent has become particularly interested in the preservation of the Ferruginous Hawk, a subject he is currently writing about. Wildlife photography is serious business; those who undertake photography of sensitive species must be naturalists first and photographers second, ensuring that no harm comes to their wild subjects during shooting. Brent will present a short video and sample slides, and devote much of the discussion to proper protocol when photographing raptors. This lecture is free of charge, but seating is limited. Please reserve your seat. Light refreshments will be served at 6:30 pm.
