Mary Wilson was the original Dream Girl. It was a vision of musical stardom as a Detroit teenager that inspired Wilson to become part of the most successful female singing group in recording history, The Supremes, and help establish the distinct 'Motown sound.' With 12 Number 1 hits, including 'Where Did Our Love Go,' 'Baby Love,' 'Come See About Me,' 'Stop in the Name of Love,' and 'My World is Empty Without You,' and nearly forty albums, The Supremes were without a doubt one of the most influential, memorable, and successful icons of the turbulent 1960s.

I attended this show on Friday night, and was very impressed with how the show was staged. I was very nervous when I heard "concert" but it was simple, and yet very effective. The orchestra sounded remarkable, and the cast extremely talented. By far one of the best shows that Sandy Arts Guild has put on. Kudos to the Director for being so brave and simplifying such a big show. Collapse
