    Come to the island paradise of Bali Ha'i during World War II, where two love stories are threatened by war and prejudice. Nellie, a spunky nurse from Arkansas, falls in love with French planter Emile. The handsome Lt. Joe Cable falls in love with an innocent native girl but denies himself happiness out of the same fears that haunt Nellie.

        I attended this show on Friday night, and was very impressed with how the show was staged. I was very nervous when I heard "concert" but it was simple, and yet very effective. The orchestra sounded remarkable, and the cast extremely talented. By far one of the best shows that Sandy Arts Guild has put on. Kudos to the Director for being so brave and simplifying such a big show. Collapse
