Each year, two young professional string quartets and two young composers are selected to be trained by the internationally acclaimed Muir Quartet and composer Joan Tower. The culmination of this program is a concert that will feature world premiers by Emerging Composers Cameron Bassert and Jessie Montgomery. The concert will begin with short string quartet numbers by students at The Music School's Summer Music Camp who have also been coached during the week by members of the Muir Quartet.
