Repertory Dance Theatre (RDT) welcomes Rippletales at RDT's Ring Around the Rose. Rippletales (Mary Johnston-Coursey and Rosalind Newmark) will use music, drama and movement to tell the story of How I Became a Pirate. Rosalind Newmark and Mary Johnston-Coursey, the team behind Rippletales, both have extensive professional experience as dancers, choreographers, musicians, and teachers. Rippletales gives them a forum to combine their talents through storytelling. Ring Around the Rose is Repertory Dance Theatre's wiggle-friendly series of performances for children and families that explores the magical world of the arts, including dance, theatre, music and storytelling. Ring Around the Rose is made possible in part by grants from the Utah Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts, Salt Lake City Arts Council, and the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts & Parks program.
