Within six months of its re-release, KT Tunstall's gritty, soulful debut album, Eye to the Telescope, was certified gold in the U.S. Worldwide sales exceeded 3.5 million copies, leading Rolling Stone magazine to hail Tunstall as a 'folk-rock goddess.' Tunstall also has three Grammy nominations under her belt due to her provocative mesh of heartfelt pop, rootsy electric blues and alternative folk sound.
