The Deer Valley Music Festival aims give great performances which engage, educate, and enrich lives. It is entering its fourth year of providing chamber music, classical, opera, and pops offerings in three venues: the Deer Valley Resort outdoor amphitheater, St. Mary's Church and salons in private homes in the Park City area. Artists include the Utah Symphony and the Utah Opera. Deer Valley Music Festival performances this summer include: Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture on Saturday, July 19th; Beethoven's 5th Symphony on Friday, July 25th; Classical Mystery Tour on Saturday, July 26th; Time for Three and Dvorak's New World Symphony on Friday, August 1st; Bravo Broadway in Broadway Rocks! on Saturday, August 2nd; Utah Opera present highlights of Gilbert and Sullivan's on Friday, August 8th (final dress rehearsal open to the public on Thursday, August 7th) and please note that a previously scheduled performance on August 9th has been cancelled due to 24-hour closure of westbound I-80 that day beginning at 4 p.m.; The Mormon Tabernacle Choir will perform with the Utah Symphony on Friday, August 15th (with a free dress rehearsal open to the public on Thursday, August 14th); and Gladys Knight on Saturday, August 16th. Important Travel Update: Please note that eastbound I-80 will close for 24 hours on that evening, beginning at 7:00pm, so guests will need to plan accordingly, ensuring that they have left the Salt Lake valley prior to the road closure. Ticket Information: All programs begin at 7:30 pm (with the exception of July 4th). Ticket prices range from $20 for general admission to $80 for reserved seating.
