Jack Nicholson, a newly retired Omaha insurance actuary, weary from decades of drudgery and passionless marriage, attempts to reclaim his life in a kid-sized Winnebago, after his wife dies. He wants to convince his daughter not to marry the Denver dimwit (Dermot Mulroney).
