Ceremonies is a multi-media exhibit that explores and celebrates the 50-year Sister City relationship between Matsumoto, Japan, and Salt Lake City. The exhibit combines personal photos, letters, and recorded interviews of Sister City participants in both countries to tell the story of a unique friendship. The Sister City program developed from President Eisenhower's People-to-People initiative, which he announced to the nation on September 11, 1956.
