    Utah Opera has announced the cancellation of HMS Pinafore at the Deer Valley Music Festival on Saturday, August 9, 2008 due to UDOT construction on I-80. The performance of the same opera on Friday, August 8th will be replaced with a Tribute to Gilbert & Sullivan featuring highlights from Mikado, Pirates of Penzance, The Gondoliers and HMS Pinafore. Come watch as Utah Opera unravels the mistaken identities, star-crossed lovers, and snobbery of Gilbert & Sullivan's HMS Pinafore, The Mikado, The Pirates of Penzance, and The Gondoliers.
