Cameron Bossert is a Brooklyn native and a 2006 graduate of Bard College, where he studied with Joan Tower. He has written several works for the Da Capo Chamber Ensemble, Colorado String Quartet, the American Symphony Orchestra, and most recently the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra. He has also been involved in theatre and film: he wrote, composed, and directed a full-length musical, New York: Out of Ashes, in high school, and recently had a reading of his play, Consumption, at the Riverspace Arts Centre in New York. Bossert has been making short films since 1990, starting with claymation dinosaurs, and is currently involved as a writer and assistant on several projects with John Turturro.
