    Two of the U's performing companies take on this classic coming of age story written by Louisa May Alcott about four New England sisters Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. To summarize composer Mark Adamo's enthusiasm for an operatic Alcott, Jo's wild imagination and her haunting memories allow for an incredible musical score: abstract and tonal, poetic and vernacular, song and symphonic. This performance will charm audiences as well with its young, lively characters, antique locale, and sundry score. Additional Information: Children under 6 not admitted. No babes in arms or lap sitting allowed. All patrons must have a ticket, regardless of age.
