Women's RedRock Music Festival

This music festival is only a few miles from Capitol Reef National Park, so bring cameras and hiking shoes. Some groups are planning hiking trips during the weekend. There are horseback riding and bike rental facilities for cowgirl adventurers. Featured performers include Melissa Ferrick, Kate Kendell, The Stacy Board Trio, Gearl Jam, Karma, Leraine Horstmanshoff, Jill Knight, Eddie Carey, LVNMUZIQ, Victoria Lagerstrom, Martine Locke, Lost By Reason, Sister Wives, Mary Tebbs, Kathryn Warner, Wishing Chair and more. Torrey is in the high desert and is often cooler than many places in Utah. At 7,000 feet elevation -- the same altitude as the base of Snowbird, Torrey is a wonderful place to visit in August. The days are warm, breezy and sunny, and the evenings are pleasantly cool. Our venue for the festival is outdoors in a wonderfully intimate setting surrounding Robber's Roost Bookstore.
