    Since 1987, the Utah Arts Council Folk Arts Program has hosted free concerts of folk music and ethnic dance at the Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Arts, located in the center of Salt Lake City's Liberty Park. Bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket! For many years Utah has led an isolated existence in the American West, where cultural traditions have developed independently from those held by the rest of the nation. With a dash of wit and humor, the Beehive Band specializes in presenting the hymns, songs, and fiddle tunes of Utah pioneers. Their music emphasizes the period of the Mormon westward migration as well as the era of settlement before the railroad came to Utah.
