Voices of Opus: Love in Time

Voices of OPUS, conducted by Roberta Shimensky, presents love in its myriad forms, including time, with a performance of Brahms Liebeslieder Waltzer along with works inspired by John Linton Gardner, Alice Parker, and John Corigliano. The concert will take place in the Dumke Recital Hall, 4th floor of Gardner Hall on the campus of the University of Utah. Love in Time reflects OPUS commitment to the performance of the music of significant living composers, along with keeping alive underperformed gems of classical masters of the past. The repertoire of Love in Time is unique in that all the pieces are accompanied by piano four-hands. Pianists Paul Dorgan and Thomas Klassen expertly reveal the beauty of the accompaniments, which masterfully support the artistry of the voices.
