The OLRC Apprentice Program was founded with the intent of exposing high school juniors and seniors to every aspect of theatre. Four apprentices were selected this season to assist in production development and to immerse themselves in a professional, theatrical learning environment. The capstone experience is producing and performing the annual family show. This year's family show is And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank by James Still. One of the most widely produced plays on this topic, And Then They Came for Me is a unique theatrical experience: a multimedia play that combines videotaped interviews with Holocaust survivors Ed Silverberg and Eva Schloss with live actors recreating scenes from their lives during World War II. Fred Willecke is the Apprentice Coordinator this season.
