    Chamber Ensembles provide yet another opportunity for instrumental performance. Among the numerous ensembles that exist in the department are Brass Choir, Clarinet Choir, Saxophone Quartet, Flute Choir and Double Reed Ensemble. Academic credit is offered for each group, and instruction is provided by the instrumental faculty. Membership in the chamber ensembles is encouraged as a means of acquiring and improving playing techniques not available through other ensembles. The literature studied is of excellent quality and yields much enjoyment to the performers as well as the audiences treated to performances each term. The Ensemble will be performing two free performances this April.
