Add Review/CommentAs part of the 2007-08 Excellence in the Community Concert Series, Westminster College is pleased to present a concert by the Jay Lawrence Quintet in the Vieve Gore Concert Hall in the Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory. The concert will feature romantic jazz by an all-star lineup led by Utah's top percussionist, Jay Lawrence, one of the most sought after drummers in Utah. He has recorded for movies, television, jingles, theme parks and performed with over 200 jazz artists and celebrities. His jazz expertise has earned him the title of 'Best Drummer in Utah' several times over. Rounding out the quintet are Kenju Aihara, David Halliday, Scott Wilson and Matt Larson. Tickets are available at Hires Big H restaurants, Bank of Utah offices in Salt Lake City and at the Westminster College box office.
