Important Information: This event has been cancelled. As we head into the homestretch of this year's election, this lecture will use some History to shed light on the subject of presidential success and failure. The 'greats' like Roosevelt, Lincoln and Washington faced great challenges and were good at setting goals. But their main distinguishing characteristic was an unwillingness to back down in the face of opposition. 'Taking charge' and being the alpha male was the name of the game. Take a break from all the news stories about who might be the next president and listen to some stories from the past; stories that mix humor and drama to look at some of the great 'Tough Guys' who've served as American Chief Executive. Tonight's speaker is Steve Parker, UNLV Professor of Political Science and part-time Springdale resident. Presented by Z-Arts!
