    Steve brings his new book, Bargaining For Eden to Wayne County, in southern Utah's redrock canyonlands, setting for much of the book. In this exploration of our relationship with land, Steve grapples with his ownership of a second home outside of Torrey--a journey into irony, as a lifelong environmentalist increases the density of development in the rural West, and strives to be a good citizen, as well. Steve will show slides and read from the book--and take questions from an audience that will surely include voices in the story, citizens who care deeply about the shrinking open space in this gateway community to Capitol Reef National Park.
