Join the SLC Film Center and the Office of Salt Lake City Mayor's Ralph Becker for a journey around the world and across the universe. August 15th: - Bread and Tulips (Pane e Tulipani) - A charming romantic comedy about a young housewife, who finds her independence and freedom as she embarks on a vacation from her family and begins a love affair with Venice. August 29: - Bride and Prejudice - A classic romance not just retold, but reinvented in a new globally connected world. Bride and Prejudice puts an entirely different spin on Jane Austen's story of spirited courtship, Bollywood-style. August 29: - The Year My Parents Went on Vacation - While the country focuses its attention on the epic 1970 World Cup soccer tournament, 12 year-old Mauro's world expands when his activist parents are forced underground and their plan to shield their son by leaving him with his grandfather goes awry.
