In conjunction with the Changing Identities exhibition and the Asian Studies Department, the UMFA is showing a powerful and poetic Vietnamese film directed by Dang Nhat Minh. Nostalgia for the Countryside (1996) explores the tensions and traumas of everyday life in a rural Vietnamese village.
