A program for everyone from school kids to adults, novices to advanced astronomers. Librarian and avid astronomer, Howard Brown will explain how to view the sky, read star charts, and talk about light pollution and what people can do to darken the skies. Brown will explain why the winter sky is the most spectacular, and then the group will go to the Main Library Rooftop Terrace to view the skies through telescopes.
