Oscar and Emmy-winning screenwriter and director Barry Morrow, the Trauma Awareness and Treatment Center, and The City Library present an afternoon dedicated to the Silly Willy Learn with Me books. The Silly Willy Learn with Me series is designed to benefit children with mental and psychological conditions and their parents. Events include a screening of the Emmy-winning film Bill, starring Mickey Rooney and Dennis Quaid. Followed by a questions and answer session with Barry Morrow, writer of Bill and Rain Man.

      Imagine the potential and possibilities whithin each child- within the outreach of every person who takes part in the life of a child and how having the correct information and understanding... Expand

      Imagine the potential and possibilities whithin each child- within the outreach of every person who takes part in the life of a child and how having the correct information and understanding throughout the right stages of growth and development can have. The creators, authors and participants in bringing together a series of childrens books of this magnitude and significant importance is nothing short of brilliant; with the increasing numbers and needs of children diagnosed and misdiagnosed with mental and psychological disorders- these books couldn't be more timely. I celebrate this effort and can't wait for copies of the books to become available. Collapse
