Weber State University Department of the Performing Arts and the Union Station Foundation present Jazz at the Station with The WSU Jazz Combo featuring two vocalists, Krista Griffith and Andrew Nadon. The combo includes Zoltan Vegvari, piano; Clint Stanger, bass; Adam Kozlewski, guitar; Ammon Turnblom, drums; Byron Ward, trumpet; Brian Lucas, trumpet; Mark Bailey, sax; and Lex Meldrum, sax. The combo was recently featured at the WSU Jazz and Percussion concert and received a standing ovation for their appearance. Andrew Nadon, a WSU musical theatre major, has been wowing audiences at the Wine Cellar Jazz Jam sessions since last spring. He will be featured on 'Fly Me to the Moon' and 'Here's That Rainy Day,' Krista Griffith is beginning her third year with the WSU Jazz Ensemble and will be featured on 'I Could Write a Book' and 'The Shadow of Your Smile.' They will combine talents on 'How Sweet It Is.' The Jazz Combo will also be performing 'Here, There and Everywhere,' 'Song for My Father,' 'Tangerine' and many other jazz greats. Jazz at the Station is an all-age show. Well behaved children are very welcome to attend. This is a great way to introduce young children to live music.
