    The Folklore Society of Utah is commemorating its 50 anniversary with a special celebration and conference featuring a keynote address by David Stanley, former professor of English at Westminster College and editor of the anthology of essays Folklore in Utah. Stanley's keynote is titled 'A Little Below the Surface: Utah Folklore of Faith, Work and Place,' and will include discussions of Utah legends and labor and protest songs.
