The Empress Theatre, located in Historic downtown Magna, is ready to open their Christmas production of Babes in Toyland. This new version of the classic operetta is written by Eva Barnett, with music and lyrics by Trent Oliphant. The classic tale of Alan, Jan, Contrary Mary, Tom-Tom, and the villainous Barnaby is sure to bring a feeling of delight to children of all ages. The Empress' production is directed by Nolan Mitchell with Musical direction by Trent Oliphant. The cast includes John Peckham and Joel Clark as Barnaby with Tara Peckham and Aubrey Vance as Mary and Sami Roe and Danny Eggers as Alan.
