It is not known when people began to dance, but from the earliest of history there are references of dance in ancient cultures and civilizations. Styles and types of dance throughout history play an influence in the styles of today. From ancient tribal celebrations, to the Victorian era waltz, or the Renaissance beginnings of ballet, dance styles influence dance now. More recent history includes the Charleston, the rock n roll influence of the 50s, disco, and the Latin influence of cha cha. What new changes will dance see in the future? This contemporary exploration of the Evolutions of Dance explores what the future of dance may become.
