Art at the Main, an artists' cooperative on the ground floor of the Main Salt Lake City Library, recently expanded its roster of member artists with four new artists working in diverse styles and media. The gallery's new exhibit will have a reception for the artists during the February 20 Gallery Stroll (6-9 p.m.) and will introduce the work of its four newest members: Anne Becker, who uses acrylic and collage to explore the formal elements of order, repetition, shape, and color interaction as they relate to the suburban landscape. Kris Groll, whose watercolor paintings are influenced by the beauty of rural Cache Valley where she grew up. Amy Miller, whose realistically detailed acrylic paintings portray the perfection of creation in the form of landscapes, people, and animals. Candace Skrabut, a Spanish Fork artist whose oil paintings of landscape and still life subjects draw on her experience as a painter of murals and faux finishes.
