This panel discussion about sustainable transportation will focus on the obstacles standing in the way of solutions to transportation issues and how we might move toward a paradigm for sustainable regional development. Related public policy issues include the challenges of reaching a 'shared solution' consensus, congestion pricing for downtown parking, urban planning and zoning, the use of toll roads, and discouraging the use of gasoline-powered vehicles for commuting.
