Celebrate the Persian New Year, also known as Norouz, with The City Library! Norouz marks the beginning and spring and is traditionally celebrated on the spring equinox by people with many ethnic backgrounds, political views, and religions in countries including Iran, Iraq, India, Afghanistan, and Turkey. Norouz, meaning 'New Day,' is a celebration of rebirth that brings hope, peace and prosperity.
