Understanding the headlines about our society and the fundamental freedoms we each are guaranteed, through the Constitution's First Amendment, is endlessly fascinating. This lively discussion will help to clarify issues related to our basic human liberties: expression, religion, a fair legal process, and the tension between majority will and minority rights. The presenter, Dani Eyer, is a lawyer and popular speaker on legal and constitutional issues who has led dozens of discussions with civic clubs, religious organizations, and universities throughout Utah. She will give the audience tools to become a temporary 'Supreme Court,' helping them understand and wrestle the complex continuing societal issues.
